This near beach, golf course complex has 30 units. The minimum rental period is 30 days. The Sanctuary Heron community offers a swimming pool, tennis and elevator with two tier security level. Owners may have pets.

The Sanctuary is the only private Golf & Tennis Club on all of Sanibel and Captiva Islands. This Audobon Certified 18 hole course is the only golf course in North America that is completely surrounded by a national wildlife preserve. Their comprehensive knowledge of the fragile nature of the surrounding ecosystem, pest management and plant nutrition has created an incredibly beautiful nature filled course. Sanctuary Membership is not included with a home purchase. Members enjoy the golf course, pro shop, tennis courts, tennis pro shop, swimming pool, fitness room, pros on staff, restaurant and bar.
